This stainless steel joist hanger is perfect if you're looking for an attractive appearance when working with internal exposed trusses and beams. The material offers superior corrosion resistance too, so you'll get a much longer lifespan than with galvanised alternatives - this also makes it ideal for situations where hangers are exposed to moisture, such as swimming pool buildings or deckings. It can also be used in coastal environments where saltwater spray is an issue.
The joist hanger features wider than average 50 mm strap legs, so it offers increased strength with a space between nails to increase the stability of the filing. As its versatile design fits joist depths of between 150 mm and 250 mm, you can easily adjust the length of the leg by wrapping it over to suit the height of your joist.
