B2 Fire Rated Expanding Foam works a treat for installing frames, filling cavities and for use in passive fire protection systems where DIN 4102 B2 fire class is required. This filler also delivers great thermal and acoustic insulation when used around doors and window frames. It's just as adept at this job in the bones of a house, helping to regulate temperatures when used with roofing materials and insulation boards.
This expanding foam is fast curing, with a cutting time of just 30 minutes. Soudal's foam provides an excellent yield as the foam expands to 30 times its original volume. There's no need for a primer as this filler has excellent adhesion on most construction materials without additional preparation.
