The screws feature a very sharp 25° needle point with the thread running to the end to allow immediate starting. The collar allows a wide, deep Pozi bit to be inserted, reducing the risk of the bit jumping out and rounding off the edges.
High-strength, specially hardened steel gives the R2 maximum tensile and torsional strength, while the yellow tropicalised finish offers superior rust resistance compared to a standard BZP screw.
