Only the best grade of linseed oil is used in Everbuild 101 Linseed Oil Putty. That's why it's such a popular choice for glazing single glass into metal, softwood and hardwood window frames.
The putty features an added plasticiser to improve adhesion and prevent cracking. It's important to always mix the pack contents thoroughly to blend in any surface oil before application, and to refrain from overpainting until a surface skin has formed - this can take anywhere from 7-30 days.
Everbuild 101 Linseed Oil Putty has an extended shelf life and is easier to apply then most competitive putties. However, it's unsuitable for plastic frames, heat absorbing glass, double glazing or frames treated with decorative microporous stains.
