Tightly join two electrical wires using this latching crimping tool from Minotaur. It works by heavily compressing the materials to create a permanent bond. You can take your pick from three different settings, each designed for use with cables ranging from 0.5 mm² to 6 mm² in diameter. This crimper is popular with both novices and professionals alike, from DIYers to electricians and engineers.
Made from carbon steel, the jaw on this hand tool is tough enough for regular use in harsh environments whether it's a construction project or quick repair job. This material will remain sharp for years to come. For safety, there's a secure deadlock system to hold the jaws together while not in use. The handles are ergonomically shaped, so your hands stay comfortable while you're crimping - and they're made from plastic to ensure they don't conduct electricity.
• Carbon steel crimping pliers for electrical wiring
• High compression for secure crimping
• Deadlock system and quick-release lever for safe and easy use
• Suitable for 0.5-6mm² wire
• Crimper for red wire: 0.5-1.5mm²
• Crimper for blue wire: 1.5-2.5mm²
• Crimper for yellow wire: 4-6mm²
